The brief was to record a Guinness World Records attempt in full and submit video documentation for certification.
With a Guinness submission, the approach is all logistics — the footage has to be ironclad, with contingencies and fail-safes built in so nothing falls through. That meant multi-day continuous recording, backup recording, power solutions, and Wi-Fi solutions to run everything alongside a live stream. Sarah and the internal team covered stills, and we partnered with a rental house to build out gear specific to long-form live streaming.
A few real wrinkles — batteries needing changes mid-shoot, and hitting some recording limits along the way. When you're running cameras continuously for 48 hours straight, there's no way to know every variable going in.
The result was about as close to perfect as video proof gets — 48 hours of continuous recording with only 60 frames of offset by the end. Certification can take months to come back, so we're still waiting on official word, but the footage held up exactly as it needed to.
